Ijeoma Koleoso is a strategic communications and sustainability practitioner in Africa’s extractive sector, with over 12 years of experience spanning stakeholder engagement, ESG communications, reputation management and community-facing sustainability initiatives across mining and energy.

As Corporate Affairs Manager at Segilola Resources Operating Limited, operator of Nigeria’s first legal large-scale gold mine, she leads corporate affairs, sustainability communications and stakeholder engagement, including work at the intersection of responsible mining, host community relations and social performance. Her experience includes shaping communications and trust-building approaches around benefit-sharing, responsible minerals governance and inclusive development outcomes.

Prior to Segilola, she contributed to integrity and sustainability communications on major offshore energy projects at Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited, supporting multi-stakeholder engagement across complex operating environments.

A strong advocate for gender inclusion, stakeholder trust and responsible extractives, Ijeoma has contributed thought leadership on inclusion and sustainability governance in leading Nigerian publications and has spoken on local and international ESG platforms.

At the ARMGI dialogue, she brings valuable private sector perspectives on trust-building, gender-responsive benefit-sharing, community outcomes and the role of accountability frameworks in responsible minerals governance.

She holds a dual-degree MBA from Georgia State University and IAE de Paris (Sorbonne University), and a BSc in Environmental Studies from Emory University.
